A natural cycle needs a pause
Musings
I've been learning more about pines, spruces, firs, junipers, and cedars the last few months. As a result, another layer has been added to what I see and sense with them.
I'm always surprised to experience another layer . . .
. . . another portal in the labyrinth of the world of Plant Beingsš

When I think I've learned all there is to know about a plant . . .
āØand then go through articles, books, videos to review my knowledge and gather up-to-date research
šæor play with new herbal applications . . .
Why must I learn this over and over? The lesson that additional portals I havenāt yet experienced, are alive and well. Why must I learn over and over that an āend of the roadā doesnāt exist in this life? Tendrils are always growing this way and that. The tree of Knowing is always branching, pruning, and resting.
So my lesson is this - itās okay to rest after Iāve devoured a great amount of knowledge on a particular herb. That I might need a break from engaging with a particular plant because, well, everyone and everybeing needs space to breathe, pause, and rest. Additionally, dormant seasons are NATURAL and crucial to existence.
The feelings of ā āIām at the āendāā of learning more about a plant; Iāve reached the ālimitā of finding all the info that exists; the reciprocity circuit is complete - is actually the need for a Natural Pause. The dormant season within the cycle of knowledge-relationship-connection. It is needed. It must be followed. It can not be skipped.
If you're interested in adding layers onto your herbal knowledge and experiencing, I have a few offers to share with you. Todayās gift is the āDrink More Tea Challengeā, a 15-page workbook that went with a live four day video lesson series. The goal is to help people add herbal tea into their daily routines. Also, I found a video tutorial from 2018 about tips for making a cup of tea including showing different tea infusers.
