It's come to my attention . . .
That I think . . .
Trees in the winter . . .
Are boring to look at.
I'm a bit disappointed in myself,
For thinking like this.
However, it is an awareness,
To help me see more wisely,
And not shame myself.
Shame does not provide wings.
Only anchors.
Within seconds of the awareness,
then shame,
Then, a question.
What's so boring?
Grey's, browns, tan, dull colors.
Just sticks.
No flowers.
No GREEN leaves.
Though . . .
. . . Wait.
I feel the awareness rising,
Like a snake slithering . . .
Remember
Remember
The Primordial Goddess,
Shakes awake.
Soil stirring where she lays.
The soil falls away.
She rises!
In her garment of
Grey's, browns, tan.
Remember!
