Wise Council from Nature: The Way of the Flow
Iāve noticed a pattern in my lifeās vibration in the last week or so. Iāve had a few interactions marked by tension, binary, and an us-versus-them mentality. Situations where I thought I was expressing myself with rational thought only to be met with insults, character judgments, or contemptuous disbelief.
These kinds of interactions bring up many emotions for me. Iāve experienced this in my life before. Iām still learning how to cope with the swirl of emotions that rise in me. My instinct is to suppress these feelings and move on, reminding myself that it says more about the other person than my āfailedā communication attempt. I just wish we could have dialogue without dismissive accusations. Sigh ā¦..
This weekend, I went to an art museum about two hours away from my home. As I sat in the passenger seat watching the green crop fields and forested landscape fly by alongside the interstate, I was contemplating these interactions, āI must bring this to Nature, the Wise Council, and ask how does Nature deal with conflict?ā Though, I didnāt have to go far because a word flashed in my mind - Partnership.
āReally? But, what about animals eating other animals? Is that a partnership?ā Again, the word appeared - Partnership. I decided to let the inquiry percolate until I was sitting on soil and roots breathing in the fragrance of the forest.
Later, after a long walk in nature, I sat in tall grass beside a young oak sapling, and asked the question with more detail, āHow do you create partnerships when another Being is aggressive?
āSever the connection.ā
I replied, āThat doesnāt feel like a partnership way of existing. It doesnāt feel loving.ā
No response.
No spark.
No resonance.
What happened? Why has the communication ended?
āBecause you are anthropomorphising this conversation. Feel the answer, donāt think it. Drop in and feel your way.ā
I focused on my breathing and felt that word - Partnership - instead of thinking about it. What unfolded next is challenging for me to describe. Itās part embodiment, intuitive journeying, and communing. This is what I wrote during the experience:
āThe Partnership was extended. It was not taken in.
Partnership rediverted the Love back to the Giver or another partnership in waiting.
The āblockedā or un-recipricated One will learn or move on.
Though the Love, Partnership, Resources continue to flow.
That is the Way. The Way Partnership is to be - to Flow.
Flow must happen.
It must keep circulating to nurture momentum.
To Glow. To Ripple.
To be a Resonance which is the Medicine needed for those that un-reciprocate and un-Partnership. They have Choice too.
Nurture the Partnerships that Flow."
This message goes well with another one I tapped into with the Wise Council - Resonate with the things you Love. Iām going to practice these wise teachings and feel what is working, pivot when needed, and continue to unfurl towards Love and Partnership, Community and Connection, Nourishment and Comfort.
So, friends, feel your way and go slowly into your day as Wise Council is everywhere.

Witch Camp: A Living Thread for Future Generations
Witch Camp has many layers. Itās fun, silly, special, relaxing, energizing, sacred, and I see it as supporting future generations.
When we gather in ritual, identify plants by name, tend to our intuition, or leave offerings beneath a grandmother pine, we are mending something ancient. We are repairing the bond between people and Nature, between human creativity and the great Creative Flow. We are remembering how to connect, cooperate, and live with reverence.
If we donāt practice these ways now, how will they be passed on? Even if future generations are part of the circle today, they need the trail of breadcrumbs weāre laying: event flyers, social media photos, newsletter reflections, post-event snapshots. These become fragments of a living memory . . . a bit of an archaeological dive. Thatās how people today are piecing together the earth-based customs of times past, by trying to find evidence of past activities through text, art, and song to name a few.
At Witch Camp, we reclaim those threads in real time. We practice intuitive listening, shared ritual, symbolic resonance, and plant spirit wisdom. We identify wild plants and honor their gifts. We connect with Goddess energy, and most of allāwe slow down enough to be deeply nourished.
This is how we remember.
This is how we seed the future.
